The “666” No-gear Workout

Run (6) twenty-five yard dashes, do (60) Prisoner Squats, and do (6) Jackknifes.  That’s the “Six/Sixty/Six.”  Repeat six times.  If you get it done in twenty minutes or less you may not be the beast but you are definitely a beast (it took me 24:48).

20 min. Half-Pyramid Workout

Do one Prisoner Squat, one Wall Touch each hand, one Jack-knife, and one Steam Engine.  Then, 2 of each, then 3 of each, then 4, etc. up to 13.  That’s 91 Prisoner Squats, 182 Wall Touches, 91 Jackknifes, 91 Steam Engines in 20 minutes.

20 min. Core Workout 11/20/12

Sprint (5 meters out and back); Walking Plank (left knee to chest, then right); Jump Squat; Steam Engine. 1 of each, 2 of each, etc. up to 8 and then back down to 1. Total: 20 mins, 64 of each exercise.

Lunch Break Workout 11/15/12

Walking on park trails, stop every 4 minutes and do Zombie Squats (arms extended, butt to heels).  First set 12, second set 24, third set 36, etc. up to 60 (total of 180 squats in 30 minutes).  Walk it off (10 minutes).  Contemplation or Meditation (10 minutes).  Transit time to/from work (10 minutes).  Total 1 hour.

Solo Martial Arts Workout 11/13/12

1/2 pyramid up to 10 reps: Lunge, Jackknife, Jump Squat, Pike (Total of 55 each, 20 minutes).  500 kicks in combos of 2, 3, or 4 (20 minutes).  Stretching (10 minutes).  Contemplation/Meditation (10 minutes).  Total time 1 hour.

Holiday Workout

7 am was the the time to work off some of yesterday’s excess with a quick Pull-up & Squat pyramid before shower and breakfast: 1 Pull-up & 5 Squats; 2 Pull-ups and 10 Squats, 3/15, etc. to 8/40. Then 7/35, 6/30, down to 1/5. TOTAL: 64 Pull-ups & 320 Squats, 20 mins.

Now for a day at the beach!
